Prayer Requests
Missionaries need intercessors more than admirers. They need prayers more than donors. They live and work in the enemy's territory and become the special object of Satan's attack. Support your missionaries by praying for them.

Current Prayer Needs
Pray for the Jonats as they are home in Canada.
- Home Assignment is a time of renewing our relationships with supporting churches and friends.
- For receiving fresh vision and direction for the on-going work in Malawi.
- For raising prayer and financial support for the next three years both for them personally and for on-going projects.
- For rest and reconnecting with family.
Most Recent
Our most recent news and prayer requests include:
- Pray for Wes as he travels all the way across Canada speaking in churches and connecting with individuals telling them about the currents needs in Malawi.
- Pray for Lorrie and Tembi and Karis as they stay in Duncan. The girls are in school at the local Christian School.
- Pray for the people of Malawi that are so desperately impoverished but who have a faith in God that is gloriously rich!
- Pray for God to raise up new and creative ways to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ
Continuing Needs
- Please fervently uphold the Jonat family and pray for God's almighty spiritual protection. Wes and Lorrie are relentlessly engaged in the battle of transforming lives for the Kingdom of God and the enemy doesn't like that at all.
- Please pray that the Lord would protect the Jonats from any physical harm and would bless them with energy and vitality to do the work He has called them to.
- The Jonats do not work alone—they have a team both in Malawi and throughout Canada and the United States. Please pray for unity, that all would be of one accord for the sake of the gospel. Pray for those who are currently preparing for, or are on a short- term missions trip—pray that they would be a blessing to the Jonats and the country of Malawi bringing encouragement and support. Pray for our financial partners that God would bless them as they assist us and enable us to live and work amongst the people of Malawi.
- Pray for what is happening in ACOP Malawi, with the Orphan Feeding Centers and Bags of Hope, pray for the Lord's clear guidance and vision for the future.
- Pray for Tembi and Karis—pray for God's continued blessing and protection over the girls (birth date: Nov. 16, 1999). Pray that they would grow more in love with the Lord as they recognize that they too are called of God as missionaries in a foreign land. Especially pray for their physical, spiritual and emotional protection.
- Pray for Wes and Lorrie's marriage to remain strong, that they would prefer each other in love and uphold each other as they work and minister together.
- Pray for the Lord's favor—that God's hand would go before them in all they do and prepare a way for them. Pray for discernment for the Jonats in all that they do—that they would have the mind of Christ dealing with the issues they face.
